MSI members were invited to “have their say” during a town hall meeting facilitated by MSI Managing Director Jeffrey Thomas. Members present discussed how MSI has been beneficial to their business growth and what is needed for their continued growth and development. Attorney John Hayter, a construction law specialist, gave a presentation centered on how construction contractors and other small business owners should manage their business operation. He discussed several scenarios of how to manage finances and operations so that the business would not become involved in litigation and he shared many experiences, citing dos and don’ts for small business owners. Mr. Hayter’s presentation was live streamed for members who could not attend.
